On some lizard species of the Western Taurus Range

Abstract

A total of 282 specimens belonging to 13 lizard species from the Western Taurus Range were investigated. Morphological and biological data as well as missing pieces of information about the species were sought to be completed with the addition of a large number of new localities. Moreover, the data obtained were compared with those in the relevant literature in an attempt to shed light on the taxonomical status of the species. © TÜBITAK.
